NO, Medicare and Medicaid do not care which supply company, or which brand of product you select. You may change either at any time.
Life Line Medical Supply has been fully accredited for 3 years, until September 21, 2015. See the attachments.
Medicare performs “unannounced inspections” to insure that providers comply with the 25 Medicare Supplier Standards. Medicare has completed 3 “unannounced inspections” of Life Line Medical during the last 18 months. No deficiencies were noted.
Life Line Medical carries a $50,000 Surety Bond from Old Republic Insurance Company, which guarantees to you that any medical product provided to you has been paid for in full. Thus, you are guaranteed that the equipment and supplies provided by Life Line Medical Supply has been paid for, bonded and approved by Medicare.
Life Line Medical carries a $3,000,000 General Liability policy from Scottsdale Insurance Co. It is 6.7 times the amount required by Medicare. This policy provides coverage for any negligent acts.
